Gracing Angel with London’s happiest hour Mon-Fri [5-6:30]. Serving the taste of Louisiana Creole & Cajun cuisine, live jazz & blues!
Time Out says
As a love letter to his ancestry in Louisiana, chef, restauranteur and pub-owner Jacob Kenedy opened Plaquemine Lock in 2017. Set on the Regent’s Canal in Angel, Islington, we serve Creole and Cajun cuisine cooked to an incredibly high standard and served in a relaxed atmosphere, often accompanied by live jazz. With an impressive selection of bourbons, Louisiana cocktails and British beers, our bar aims to provide a full Pelican State experience.
The spirit of Louisiana surrounds you when you enter Plaquemine Lock. A big part of this is the live music. We host live jazz and blues six days a week [Mon-Sat], with many of our regular performers being internationally recognised and highly esteemed within London’s live music scene. Whether it be an intimate Monday-evening blues session or a lively weekend jazz brunch, the performers at Plaquemine Lock are not to be missed!
