Went there with a group of girlfriends we had a great time. My lobster mac & cheese was delicious. A lot of the portions are on the slightly small size though so the bill ended up a little higher than wanted as most of us had to order a few things. But none the less, cute decor, nice food. Will definitely go back

I visited Rascals in it's opening fortnight and was lucky enough to enjoy 50% off the bill for food. My goodness and what tasty food it was. The mushroom risotto might be one of the finest dishes i've ever enjoyed and the cocktails were seriously good. Each dish was really tasty and the staff were eager to receive the feedback, though we had only good things to say so who wouldn't? Would definitely recommend Rascals for a delicious meal, however, the prices means a steep bill could rack up pretty quickly.

My new favourite!

Rascal has everything I like in a restaurant:

  • Amazing food: They follow a now fashionable "tapas trend". Their portions are small, but you can experiment and try various dishes during a visit . We as a group of 3 ordered 5 mains and a desert and everybody was super satisfied with everything. Our winner was the roast duck, which was phenomenal: it almost melted in our mouth, the taste was excellent and the side completed the whole dish perfectly. The runners up (in order: mushroom risotto, pork belly, squid rings and the wasabi noodles). The desert (Floating Island) made us float with a relaxing sugar-coma.
  • Eye-catching interior: Pastel heaven, neon signs, projected patterns, plants, cool plates and cutlery...This could be the Palm Vault's bigger sister:)
  • The prices are surprisingly friendly (a dish for 6-7 pounds...in Shoreditch!).
  • The staff is exceptional: I haven't experienced this high level of service anywhere. They were thoughful (when our water had finished they would refilled it without question), always around (we got served by at least 5 different people and they all were super nice), friendly (one waiter even twerked with another customer), fast and...ohm...how should I put this...GORGEOUS...I was wondering how can everybody look this great in one workplace (floor, bar and kitchen as well). Maybe it's a requirement...

Anyway...Go to Rascals. 100% recommended.

You can't miss their neon pink sign! Lush and trendy place without being pretentious. Vibrant atmosphere with colourful images projected to the beat of the music. The grazing menu was right up my street, full of flavour and loved the textures. They had their soft launch week, but prices are still decent even without the 50% off.

Good for groups so you can try more dishes - the cocktail menu looked pretty good too. I'll have to come back soon to try everything else 😋

Wheelchair access ✔️. Step-free entrance and accessible toilet was still under construction, but just about usable on the night. Thumbs up for when it's completed. The tables in their "pink room" are high so not suitable for wheelchair users, but the tables in the main area are just fine.
