Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.

A fine-dining restaurant located within the Grade II-listed Georgian home of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Its considerable culinary clout comes from the Roux family, with operations here falling under the remit of Michel Roux Jr - the two-Michelin Star head chef at Le Gavroche, TV show regular and heir to a cheffing dynasty made famous by his father, Albert, and his uncle, Michel.

The kitchen here is headed up by 2009 MasterChef winner, Steve Groves, who has put together a seasonal modern-European menu with plenty of nods to classic cooking. Sample dishes range from roast Scottish langoustine, prawn tortellini and tartare with coastal vegetables to roast cod served with garlic, parsley, mussel and fennel, Scottish venison with port, pear, parsnips and red cabbage, and Iberico pork chop with chorizo, white beans and cime di rapa.

Set lunch menus are available, as are tasting menus that can be matched with wines from a list focusing predominantly on the old world. Keep an eye out, though, for drops from Kent as well as those bottled for and chosen by Albert Roux - a man who knows a thing or two about wine.
