In the shadow of London’s famous St Paul’s Cathedral, Rucoletta is a family run Italian restaurant where you’ll enjoy only the very best homemade food. Relaxed and friendly, Rucoletta is the ideal combination of central London location, comforting atmosphere, good food and surprisingly reasonable prices – and that’s what keeps guests coming back again and again. In the sleek, modern dining room you’ll be looked after Rucolettas' highly trained wait staff, every one well turned out, polite and apparently as enthusiastic about your dinner as you are. It’s easy to see why those meals are getting everybody excited, they really could have been choppered in from mama’s kitchen over in Naples, such is the authenticity of flavours and freshness of the ingredients. In fact, the only indication that these dishes have come straight from the kitchens of a central London restaurant is in the impeccable presentation, overseen by head chef Carmine de Benedictis.

A treat of a restaurant not too far away from St Paul's, Rucoletta offers delicious Italian food. It’s a great pick for lunch in the city during the week if you fancy a break from the usual chains and have a little more time to spear (but don’t worry, the staff is very efficient and you can be in and out in about 45 minutes if you’re on the go). I tried the merluzzo in padella, a house classic, and found it very tasty. Think pan fried cod fillet paired with crispy carrots, parsley mash potatoes and cherry tomatoes. There are many more options on the menu as well as an array of alluring scents the second you walk in, so you’ll be spoiled for choice. Definitely worth a visit.

Went there for lunch yesterday. Downstairs room was freezing cold and food was horrible.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 course meal this evening . The food was great and the staff very friendly and accomodating. Would definately return and recommend you to family and friends. Thanks once again , Bernie.
