A Chinese restaurant well located for the city, as well as east London's shopping and nightlife. The authentic Sichuan (from the south-west province) cooking here includes everything from tripe salad and cucumber in garlic sauce to king prawns, frogs legs and pork with oyster mushrooms.

So good we went back twice in a row! We were adventurous and had the frog legs, special chicken, pickled mustard green fish, stir fried pork, cold fungus salad and smacked cucumber. All seriously tasty. Highly recommended. Generous portion sizes, good prices and mouth numbing! 


Hidden in the alley way off Brick Lane is this small but great Szechuan restaurant. It didn't look impressive from outside but food was tasty and authentic. Service was attentive too, unlike service in other 'cash only' Chinese restaurants. We had the black fungus with coriander, spicy chicken with dried chilli and Szechuan pepper, fish soup and spicy green bean with minced pork. The fish soup was not spicy hence it was good for cooling the palate down. This restaurant is popular, hence booking is recommended if visiting in the evenings.


Went here before heading to the theater.They were very upfront that it is a CASH only restaurant (this was also in the confirmation email we received) but this is good as its easy to forget. We had the beef in oil, cold noodles with shredded chicken, and spiked cucumbers as a starter with the pork and beef for mains. We also lucked out that all the dishes we picked had no nuts (they also have signs warning people about that as well). The wait staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I especially likes the cucumber, amazing how they can take a pretty dull vegetable and make it taste like something. 

If you are sick of getting harassed by people trying to get you into their curry shop  on Brick Lane, get yourself down here (just down the street from that mess) for some authentic(spicy) Sichuan food

Being a regular customer for this restaurant since it's opened in 2010, I like it very much not only for its tasty dishes, very reasonable price but the service I received it's superb, especially their manager, I always ask him to help ordering and surprisingly I like every dish he ordered, he knows even better than my husband! haha.......
