Smokoloko combines a gourmet tradition using delicious smoked meat, bringing a distinctive element, of freshly prepared food, served to order. It is not a typical Brazilian restaurant, but the tropical flair is there. Smokoloko’s brainchild comes from the Chef Cleo Vizioli’s passion for smoked meat, a traditional cooking technique from his homeland, the Pampas region in southern Brazil close to the border with Argentina.
"Our goal is to provide gourmet gastronomy, using an advanced technique with the best raw materials,” says the co-founder and director of Smokoloko, Chef Cleo Vizioli.
As well as its fixed locations – Spitalfields and Camden Markets, you can also find Smokoloko stalls in several festivals around the UK, bringing their charming vintage mobile locomotives and delicious fare, adding to the good vibes found in each event. Smokoloko locomotives are also available for private and corporate events, adapting their menu into delicious canapés, also including veggie options.
