I most definitely have the travel bug and have experienced Indian cuisine all over, outside of Indian Spice village most definitely hits the spot. I have frequented this restaurant on numerous occasions and always have an excellent experience with exceptional levels of quality and service. It’s perfect for lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Dishes are flavoursome and super tasty.

Seriously tasty food can be found right here...one of the best Indian restaurants in Tooting, and there are quite a few, namely Mirch Masala.  Unfortunately it’s one of a few which don’t allow alcohol on the premises, however this just encouraged us to try the different Lassi’s on offer – a yoghurt based drink that comes sweet or salty in a variety of tropical flavours which compliments the hot spices on offer.

A lot of people around us seemed to order the tandoori options of sizzling platters which looked and smelt amazing, so that's next on my list.

I always order either the Korma or Butter Chicken which is delicious.  We ordered 2 nan breads and 2 rice sides between 4 which was more than enough as he rice portions are huge.

The waiters are all super friendly and the décor inside is some of the nicest in Tooting.  Always full of Indian customers which is a good sign and helps that it’s on the corner of my street!

PS. Always a shout to pop in for a late night kebab if you're in the area up until midnight...their chicken kebab in peshwari nan is one of the best I've ever tasted, and a bargain to boot!
