From walking through the entrance of the Hotel, you can gather a rather good impression of what the bar is going to be like. It's perfectly nice but nothing special. It's smaller than I would have expected but I was glad to see that a rather large amount of space was taken up by a piano. It's certainly not as opulent as some other hotel bars in the area if that's what you're after. The drinks selection is more limited than I'd like but great for a bar of it's size (unless you like beer). It's not wildly more expensive than a pub, depending on your choice of drinks, but watch out for the service charge.
