A great cafe for brunch if you're in the area. Extensive menu with plenty of interesting options. Nice coffee too. Big enough that you can usually get a table at weekends, which is often different in this area! On this visit I had the halloumi breakfast (which was very good) but next time I think I'll try something more adventurous from the menu.

I have to say - I have never had anything in this place, but I peeked at other people's food and coffee and it looked delicious. but I did hang out working and I must recommend this to anyone who is around and would like a spacious, wooden, rustic chill vibe to read/work/study. It's rare to find places in London this spacious, looking great and with plenty of seats available. It feels home. If your home had space. That's why I will give it a 4/5.

The Barn is my new favourite brunch spot. Good value, great food and healthy portion sizes are what you get.

I popped in on a Saturday morning, when it was pretty busy, but the atmosphere is cool and very chilled.

I had an americano with the Barn breakfast. The staff were very good at accommodating my no-egg needs, swapping for avocado with no trouble at all. My friend and I stayed after finishing eating and didn't feel hurried at all. My only regret is not buying a cake for later - the yoghurt flapjack looked divine! I'll be back!

Superb coffee shop in Holloway road (near Highbury and Islington overground station). Fresh juices, fresh bread, excellent coffees and relatively cheap breakfast/brunch dishes. At the same time cosy woody space and a small sunny room with glass ceilings.

The Barn is located at the start of Holloway Road, where you find more and more coffee shops. This one has a lovely facade, made of wood. I like the inside decoration, similarly made of wood, candles, a very hygge place :) I love going there for a brunch on Sundays, enjoying a fresh juice, a delicious cappuccino, fresh bread and either the full English breakfast or a lighter benedict eggs plate. It is not as busy as Upper Street,  and there is the same good vibe.

We've been there few times for breakfast. The quality of food is amazing and the customer service is great . Will highly recomend !

The family are amazing, the food is lovely and the vibe is always so great!

Its just amazing attention to details,it makes you feel at home, most important healthy food is a way to go and have a quality of a 5 star.

Recomended

Consistently the best brunch in Islington! Always great food, delicious coffee and amazing service.

Great food, coffee and atmosphere. Very friendly guys running the place. Easy choice for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

These guys are really nice and provide an unusual combination of friendly, relaxed service that is also efficient. Good food and juices, good atmosphere and feel. Our number one hangout.

I love this place. Food is top notch (all homemade, very tasty and a great selection) but the service and atmosphere is the best!

Despite there being plenty of competition for cafes in the area, this place is always buzzing. The staff are super friendly and the breakfasts, coffee and cakes are delicious! A very welcome addition to Holloway Road.

such a nice cosy atmosphere, and the decor is great! would highly recommend this place for the great tasting coffee and also the food selection! I regularly come here and it never disappoints, its a great addition to the highbury area weather its for a quick coffee or a relaxing sit down lunch with friends. The Home made cakes and really well presented food of a healthy variety keeps me coming back!

The most friendly staff I have ever come across! Their food is amazing and the venue is relaxing
