Westfield has been a revelation to the residents of Shepherds Bush, West London and to the world of shopping! And we are delighted to be the only gastropub, purveyor of real ales, shower of Sky TV and server of classic English food in Westfield.

In addition we have a wine list chosen by a master of wine, cocktails for the weary shopper, a private function room, two floors of seats, sofas and barstools for the drinkers.

But it will also be the food that distinguishes us from the fine array of restaurants at Westfield as we will be serving British classics, along side the simple favourites of the pub aficionados….simple grilled fish, slow roasted cuts of meat, seasonal soups, sandwiches, pies, Sunday roasts, a curry, salads….go on take a look at the menu!

Pop in, book ahead, host your own party, eat, drink, giggle, guffaw…..relax.

Recently popped into The Bull for a pint after visiting Westfield. I haven’t been inside this pub for years, when it first opened. Now owned by Young’s, I had fairly reasonable expectations about the drinks selection and quality of service – however, I was disappointed on both fronts. On tap was a large range from Camden Brewery, but there was a severe lack of independent and local beers available. Their sister pub, The Cow in Stratford, has a respectable showing of breweries such as Beavertown and Signature Brew; but when I asked our server what was in the fridges, he obviously wasn’t familiar with their selection and was reluctant to check. The pub is expansive inside, spread over two floors (and a mezzanine area) with vast sitting room. It lacked much atmosphere and there were plenty of dirty glasses lying around despite it being a quiet Tuesday evening. Even if I were passing through again, I wouldn’t be in a terrible rush to return.

The Bull is a great after-work watering hole, with a good selection of drinks and food items. The comfortable and cosy, somewhat eclectic seating arrangements consist of huge American style sofas and blocks, with normal tables and chairs also. The venue is spread over three floors adding to the cosy feel - even when it's pretty full on a Friday night!
