Photos of 1960s America hang above the plain tables. Outside there are dark wooden benches, but opt for a takeaway and you might park overlooking a field of buttercups: part of the farm opposite the restaurant. Portions are huge: 300g (11oz) of meat in a burger, wraps that come in twos, and a big mound of chips. The burgers are of juicy beef, and buns are filled with an array of extras like aubergine or peppers, fried egg or, for the more adventurous, beetroot or sweet potato. The wraps are thin and chargrilled, with a filling of sliced minute steak or chicken, anointed with a sweet chilli sauce. To appreciate the taste of the meat, it might be better to avoid the pot of guacamole. For vegetarians there’s a portobello mushroom burger and a side salad of mixed leaves with avocado, red onions and pine nuts. Children can choose from chicken wings or nuggets, or a small burger and a faux milkshake. Unlike adults, who will be stuffed, kids may also want to try a dessert of apple pie or warm chocolate pudding.

Price signs are misleading here. Would've rated maybe two or three £ signs- is not cheap for a burger place. I don't think there is a single main course on the menu for £4.90 as mentioned here- cheapest is prob £10, and that's without sides. Food is fine but by no means great quality (doesn't reflect prices). Also, they don't take cards which is beyond ridiculous in this day and age.

Great Service, Excellent food. Huge portions. Cheap too!! Everything is cooked to perfection. Will be coming here regularly.

A dirty and cold restaurant, for these reasons I shall never return: Positive: Large sized burgers Decent Price Negative: Their health standards from what can be seen are appalling. If you can see right into their kitchens, you would have thought they would keep a basic level. We saw one of the chefs touching his greasy hair then wiping his hands on his dirty clothes, and then handling the food. No gloves, and wearing rings on his hands. Their restaurant is cold, as the door swings open and slowly closes and it is a small tightly packed space, so whenever the door opened you get a long shiver. They don't accept credit or debit cards at all, not only is this dodgy regarding tax purposes, it is extremely inconvenient as there are no cash machines nearby. Never again.

Freshly cut vegetables, quality meat, quick service , decent portions and relatively healthy for a burger.
