The Cavendish
Venue says Knock on the door, its seems like happiness is dancing on the wooden floor. Join the atmosphere of our place, we have a lot to share.

A two-floor restaurant and bar on New Cavendish Street, with a modern-European food menu alongside a global wine list, signature cocktails, an array of premium spirits and a selection of cigars to be enjoyed on the terrace seating at the venue's front.

The kitchen is headed up by Douglas Santi, who has put together a menu featuring dishes such as scallops, lardo di colonnata, smoked baby leek and truffled mashed potato, beef carpaccio, pantelleria capers, Melba toast, various plates of ceviche, and meats cooked in a Josper oven. There are seasonal menus, too, as well as snacks.

The Cavendish says
Elegant and ageless, The Cavendish looks as though it’s been part of the Marylebone fabric for decades. But in fact, it’s brand new on the block. The room has the full brasserie treatment, complete with banquette booths and full-skirted white-clothed tables, black and white dressed staff and plenty of busy taps on the bar. When the sun's out you can enjoy a true London pavement-terrace experience with the full restaurant menu available.

The Cavendish offers a community of like-minded people respite from the ‘exclusive’ London bars and restaurants, delivering a neighbourhood brasserie with fantastic food and drink at its heart. The menu is French/Italian with Middle Eastern touches and is ingredient led, never relenting on the quality of produce and always showcasing the best in season. Classics like steak tartar, tuna three ways and 100-layer lasagne always feature, supported by showstoppers like the rib eye for two and veal chop cooked over an indoor charcoal BBQ.

To complement the selection of produce there is a carefully curated wine list and extensive craft cocktails, such as the infamous Cavendish 35.

Whether it’s an espresso at the bar, brunch with your friends or a romantic dinner for two in the beautiful restaurant, The Cavendish has something for everyone.

This is a good place to go with your friends in a group, they have nice dance floor and loads of tables. Its better if you have a table, so that you get more of an area to dance, otherwise bar was cool as well! They play hip hop, no house. Expensive drinks, but standard soho prices.
