Literally the best coffee shop in London. The best service, best staff and the best bonsoy cappuccinos. A great place to start off your saturday morning followed by a stroll and shopping down the gorgeous camden passage.
if you are in Angel, check out this shop. Great space, Amazing Coffee & Food delicious and frendly staff .. Good vibes all round.
Great coffee, killer peanut brownies, genuinely pleasant atmosphere. Yes, the tap water is served in a repurposed milk bottle, but you somehow don't hate yourself for being here anywhere near as much as you would if it were further east.
This place changed the coffee conversation around here creating a friendly, quality alternative to the tax-dodging, corporate and cold, naff-novelty-spiced-latte-houses on the main drag. Other welcome independents sprang up as a result and it's bolstering the Camden Passage scene of 'shop small' gems up the street. It's often rammed so head down into the 'secret garden' if it's nice out.
Amazing concept, fantastic location, fascinating building...oh yeah, and the coffee is simply the best. Not to mention the friendly staff! If you like experiencing life, pay a visit.
I like this place. Spacious, big windows, a mix of different seating options. The decor is trendy and stylish but comfortable too. The staff are amongst the nicest I've come across in London. They are cool and good looking, but not "up their own...." (if you live in Islington/Hackney you know what I mean). Coffee and food are very good. This place deserves to be praised.
Best flat white coffee I have tasted by far. Their cold brew is to die for. If you're ever in Islington, you have to go and give it a try!
I love this place. The staff are amazing and friendly, the coffee is great, and the vibe is completely relaxed. Great place to go and read / work / study. Yes it's trendy but not at the expense of humanity - the staff genuinely seem to enjoy chatting to the customers and it always gives me a lift. Compared with other coffee places the prices are normal for London. But yes above all else they coffee is always good, and that's by Melbourne standards.
Not only is CoffeeWorks undoubtedly the best coffee in Islington, it’s one of the best in London! The coffee is skilfully made by experienced barristers who are friendly, welcoming and always happy to see you again upon your return! If you want Starbucks, this isn’t the place for you because CoffeeWorks is about real coffee for genuine coffee lovers! A must on any trip to Islington!
One of my favourite spots in not just Islington but London! Great coffee, lovely staff, and amazing atmosphere! ...and did I mention the eye candy that passes through the door...I will be back very soon.
Best coffee. Best people. Great family run shop and always with a smile and high quality food and drink x
Most amazing place - incredible coffee - even to bring home!! Look forward my morning coffee
From the team to hot chocolate to salted Carmel brownies!
The go to day hang out - Anyday of the week
The friendliest staff, free wifi, great for people watching and of course: fabulous coffee. This is the only cafe I go to anymore!
Friendly baristas who always remember my order and serve it to me with a smile as I sit in the front window reading the Saturday Guardian. Great place to spend a Saturday morning after a run along the canal (the food also always looks very tasty!)
This place does good coffee which the staff are serious about but in contrast to most coffee shops, has the loveliest staff.
In a sea of coffee shops these guys are consistent on quality, service and vibe. And if they appear too busy for a seat, there's a secret garden out back....
Consistently excellent coffee, friendly staff, great breakfasts - the granola and chocolate croissant are both favourites. Limited lunch menu but well made.
Excellent coffee, very tasty food, very friendly staff, great atmosphere, free Wifi and lots of plug sockets. What more could you ask for?
Absolutely love this coffee shop. The staff have time for you no matter how busy they are.
You should also try their coffee shops in Leadenhall Market & Blackfriars Road.
Very happy, regular customer.
Truly a coffee shop for cosmopolitan tastes the baristas are are skilled to perfection in making first class coffees the atmosphere is like a heart beat food fresh homemade
Best coffee in London, hands down. I lived in Wellington NZ, so know that most of the coffee here in London is terrible, when they finally opened the coffee works project in Leadenhall market I have been in there everyday since, multiple times a day now.
They are so friendly. Always lovely coffee, amazing people. what are you doing not going there now!
Love this place - a cool, little hangout with great 'light bite' food, savoury and sweet. Pared down, warehouse interiors and great for people watching.
Great little spot with super friendly staff. The coffee and pastries - especially the brownies and Eccles cakes - are excellent, though I can't imagine who is forking out the 4 (FOUR) pounds they charge for some of their filter coffees, no matter how slopey or shade-grown their origins, or how hand-brewed the individual serving. I stick to the £2.50 flat whites and cappuccinos. They come with some lovely foam art. Wifi can be spotty, but the ambiance makes up for it (unless you need to submit a job application in the next hour).
Coffee (black americano) was strong and well made but the waitress that took our order clearly got out of the wrong side of the bed. Would go again though, just for a well made strong coffee.
The place has a urban cool touch and that is probably about it. The coffee is no better than elsewhere, it took ages to be served a simple take-away latte by rather condescending staff members, who are feeling cool because they are behind the bar or serving you and you're not. Don't bother, there are many nicer places in the area.
I've never seen a place so hipster-targeted. You have to order from a woman with an iPad even though the space is small and she could just say the orders to the guy making the coffee next to her... Also the only place where i've ever seen an americano is more expensive than cappuccino. Overpriced and overrated.
Closes at 6pm which is odd given that London is an international city - probably losing a lot of custom because of that. They've just started doing hot chocolate.
The coffee was terrible, it tasted like just milk. The staff were slow and condescending it took way too long to make two take away coffees which were a waste of £5. I expect somewhere with such a "trendy" look to provide a decent service but I am obviously mistaken.
Site is great, space is nice, coffee improving but let down badly by putting chairs up on tables while customers sitting there are still drinking!
