Went here with a friend on a sunday for lunch and got a table very quickly, assuming after work and weekends this place can get very busy. The food is definitely typically American, we were so excited to see they had a whole vegan section on their menus though! We ordered vegan burgers and fries and were pleasantly surprised, they tasted amazing! They are pretty big so definitely pace yourselves! The milkshakes are flawless, oreo cookie one was our favourite! The service was slow considering the restaurant wasn't busy but definitely will be returning here to try more from the menu!

Been here twice, once with friends and once on a client lunch. Great each times!

Absolutely delicious food, with an unreal choice of food. The cheeseburger with blue cheese sauce... wow. Another unreal addition to the menu is mac & cheese.

Staff are very friendly and attentive. The booths feel very cosy and shield from the rest of the restaurant. Lovely.

I had visited the Strand branch of The Diner before, so when a friend and I decided to take another girlfriend out for her birthday, I knew this was the place we needed to go. On a Wednesday around 5pm, the place was empty, which suited us just fine. My friends were bowled over by the massive selection, and we ended up choosing a few burgers and fries (pulled pork and beef, and chili cheese and garlic) for my friends and chicken and waffles for me. And of course we had to start with boozy milkshakes!!! Just as with the food at the Strand branch, it was all incredible. The bacon gravy is pretty much just bacon fat in a cup but I wasn't moaning - also excellent with the garlic fries. I was also very happy to see real Canadian maple syrup on my plate!

Service was a bit slow when we were trying to get our bill but the server was very funny and we had some good banter with her. We would all definitely return - and the birthday girl has since been to another branch!

Very honest and great American food! We found the service a bit too laid back. We really enjoyed the Mexican tortilla starter, the burger and the Philly cheese steak sandwich. The mac and cheese was too much on the dry side though. Would go back for the nice American diner atmosphere.
