Went here for brunch with the gals a few weeks back. Really lovely setting, chilled atmosphere, and the booth made entirely of books is really cool. We had a bottomless brunch, which included the peach belini and was delicious! Food wasn't bad, I had a pecan-crusted salmon, and my friends had a cheeseburger and risotto. Portions are a bit small.

Staff was really attentive, but the only thing was timing. The bottomless brunch was 2 hours, and, when you go to brunch you kind of want to have a drink and chat for a little bit, then eat slowly, drink some more, etc. Our food was brought out so quickly after ordering I questioned whether is was freshly cooked (although it did taste delicious), but more over it kind of messed with the flow. We just sat there drinking for the last hour, which felt odd in that environment.

That's all really. But would go back again.

Went here for a Christmas party. Nice decor, but they had crammed as many tables as possible to increase their coverings - we were on a collapsable rickety table. The food was ok  but nothing special, and the cutlery was dirty. I think it is likely the standards have dropped in the mania of Christmas, but I'm not sure I'll bother coming back to test.

I've been here a few times. Once for leaving drinks, a few times for drinks after work and also twice for breakfast

I love the cocktail menu here but I suppose they are pricey and they never have any deals unlike plenty of other nice bars in the area. But they always have some funky ones in treacle jars or jam jars! And they've always been tasty! The menu has looked the same for a while now so maybe I'll visit next time then change
We also went here for breakfast on a Friday before work with colleagues and the first time we bizarrely got 50% off. Apparently this happens before 9 every other Friday (which they don't advertise) but it makes breakfasts very reasonable.
Menu quite good choice and iv had a nice yog and granola nicely presented and then waffles syrup and berries and both were tasty and fresh. Colleagues have had savoury inc eggs and California kickstart which they said were good
Coffee is nice however they have fresh juices on the menu but both times haven't had the delivery so never able to make them - shame!
I will go back for breakfast again though
I've had a few snacks and they were okkk but nothing amazing
Nicer than their sister the folly. Would like to go to the one in heron tower!

One of the more popular places for a drink or dinner in the city. This venue is huge and each floor seems to provide a different kind of ambience (there are 3 floors in total). Went here on 2 separate occasions, one for a wedding and the other for a dinner. Food could definitely be improved and was not impressed. However, the ambience is decent for a night out. Finally, the sound system could be improved as the live band was difficult to hear and there was constant interference when the wedding speeches were read out.

When we went for dinner (first week) it was busy, the music was loud enough that we found ourselves shouting our orders to the waitress. Service was slow and we abandoned dessert for lack of a menu (despite requests). A shame as the starter and mains were good.
