In the dining room, refectory tables and muted colours set the scene for a line-up of sophisticated pub dishes such as devilled Cornish mackerel with beetroot and dill relish, beef fillet with parsley risotto or crispy duck leg with peas, bacon, baby gem and tarragon jus.
