Time Out says

A modern British restaurant at a five-star central London hotel.

The Game Bird at The Stafford says
Under the direction of celebrated Michelin-starred chef, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, The Game Bird is inspired by great seasonal, British produce and the bustle of historic St James’s. Together, Lisa and Executive Chef Jozef Rogulski have created a menu overflowing with an innovative combination of familiar favourites and delicious surprises.

Simplicity and elegance lead the way; enjoy the finest seasonal ingredients, in simple yet creative dishes, with relaxed, attentive service, in a stylish and comfortable setting. At The Game Bird, we’re dedicated to bringing only the very best British produce to the table.

The social, central counter bar is the ideal setting for a pre-dinner cocktail, from The Game Bird’s seasonally changing signature list, or simply enjoying a chilled glass of Champagne with the finest British oysters.

The decadent afternoon tea takes you on a journey around historic St James’s and its secluded streets. Dainty finger sandwiches and delicious, homemade sweet and savoury scones are accompanied by dainty cakes and pastries inspired by some of St James’s oldest boutiques: Lock & Co, James J. Fox, Floris and Henry Poole & Co and is priced at £45.00pp and with a glass of Moët & Chandon £58.00pp.
