Laughing Gravy - I've been there at least five times and have never been disappointed! An interesting menu with beautifully presented and scrumptious food. Really friendly and helpful service in a small setting. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but that wouldn't be fair now would it!
The food is so good the ambience. Love it there. It's like a secret loveable restaurant in London I take all my friends there coz I love it so much. Highly recommend
Firstly the food is great, but before that the service is warm and efficient and secondly they are first rate in everything they do! Hope they win they deserve to. Robert
Absolute gem. Selfishly, I'm quite reluctant to make too much noise about this place. But, it would be criminal not to. Fantastic cocktails, outstanding food, great venue and decor, and lovely staff.
Such a great find! We always have a fantastic evening at the Laughing Gravy and is the place we use for both personal dinners and to take clients.
This is the best food in the area! With great staff and great atmosphere. Well priced and great wine list too! You have to have every starter on the menu and they make the best three cheese mac'n'cheese in town. Love this place and have done for the past 5 years!
Most underrated chef in London. Understated venue, with a serious blend of intriguing food, and fantastic service.
The Laughing Gravy has a friendly and comfortable atmosphere which matches it's staff. The menu is able to cater for all food requirements and a quick call ahead to confirm was reassuring. The service, presentation and flavours of the dishes served all met with our initial expectation. A memorable evening was made at the laughing gravy, thank you.
Food is wonderful - imagjnitive menue's, delicious food, inventively presented... The interior is welcoming, intimate and cosy, And the people working there are so friendly, warm and so helpful. A real treat visiting this restaurant!
What a gem of a find! Long story short, my wife was on a course in London, I was working in London and rather than try and battle our way back home to Southampton during the Friday rush hour, we thought we'd stop for a few beers and dinner close to Waterloo Station. And Laughing Gravy was where we ended up. It's awesome! The food is sensational. A good price for what is really very fine dining. The selection of drinks and cocktails is spot on and their house conceived cocktails are excellent. The setting is great. Not a huge dining area so very cozy, very romantic and the staff are superb. Incredibly attentive and the young lady serving us was fantastic, very charming and clearly very proud to be working at such a great place! A real credit to the restaurant.
Cannot rate highly enough and cannot wait to go back!!! 👍🏻
I love the food, the atmosphere and the service here. The burgers are delicious and the desserts amazing!
A hidden secret of London .. always amazing service friendly attentive staff and the food is absolutely delicious especially the desserts .. a must go
It has a fantastic ambiance. The staff are always courteous, friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. Wine list excellent. Close to The Old Vic, Southbank and Tate Modern. It is a gem.
From the ambience to the food to the drinks to the service, I reserve this place for the special people in my life because it is so great and I know I'm guaranteed to have a fantastic experience.
Innovative, independent and just all round excellent. A very creative chef and fabulous ambiance. A real find.
Quick coffee, cheeky drink, a bite to eat or a romantic dinner - this place can do it all. One of my absolute faves!
Sophisticated and simple menu options deliciously prepared. Lovely subdued atmosphere with friendly service. Brilliant bar staff that can sate any thirst. And don't miss Sunday roast!
This place feels like a hidden gem although it's not actually too far from Waterloo/Southwark tube! The food was incredible, it was a struggle deciding what to have as there were so many good options (and the fear of food envy!). I opted for the pork and did not regret it. Also do yourself a favour and make sure you order the cauliflower and 3 cheese macaroni side dish - yum. The service was also excellent, even though there was quite a large group of us they were very welcoming. I will definitely be returning.
