We met for Easter Monday lunch here, 5 adults and one baby. the service was pretty good and the staff were all efficient and friendly.

The high chair was a little low for the tables though which was a bit of a worry for getting fingers trapped and a little awkward for feeding the baby!

The food was good, and the desserts looked great.

Vegan options were limited but I really enjoyed the superfood salad.

Recommend trying out a cocktail or two here as well although don't be surprised by a rather large bill if you're having drinks with your food.

What an adorable little spot! As a vegetarian, some veggie burgers can be a little uninspiring. So, I was delighted to find that this menu had an unusual and creative pea and courgette burger which was simply divine. The venue itself is bright, airy and has a lovely atmosphere. There's a beautiful outdoor area overlooking the canal and you are made to feel welcome whether you're visiting for drinks, snacks or a full blown meal and whether you're there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff weren't the friendliest but this could've been an off day!

Great all day dining spot in Kings Cross, right by the canal! I recently went with family for lunch and the menu catered for all our needs, avo and poached eggs on toast, salads and for those with a big appetite hearty meals like fish and chips were available. Food was lovely (I went for the grilled chicken salad), service was very attentive and the prices are very reasonable. Overall a top place to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If your lucky and the sun is out you can enjoy their large terrace.

Top spot in King's Cross with lots of terrace seating on the canal and the square.

I discovered this little gem when running down regents canal one weekend. It's pretty impressive to look at - all shiny glass frontage, facing out over the canal.

This addition to the newly renovated Kings Cross is a welcome one and would be great place to while away a sunny friday evening - drinks are reasonably priced and they do a great pale rose!

I can't speak to the food, having not tried it however some friends of mine had eaten before I arrived and commented that the service was pretty bad. Put it this way - I got there at 9.30pm, they'd eaten at 7.30pm. Their bill arrived at 11.10pm. I'm not even joking. They nearly walked out without paying, that's how slow we're talking.

So scenic and lovely but perhaps eat elsewhere. There's so many options in the area after all!

The location is the thing that makes this place attractive as a place to dine, but it is let down by the somewhat sour waiting staff who couldn't give less of a crap if they tried (if our waitress was anything to go by!) The terrace is great, especially on a glorious weekend like the one we just had, and it is wonderful being able to watch the barges and ducks pass by on the canal, though you do still have that inescapable hum of passing cars and the soul permeating shuddering of building work to add to the soundtrack of your meal.

Menu wise, it's a little unimaginative and somewhat overpriced. For 2 small slices of toasted bread topped with avocado and poached egg: £8.50. It was a bit measly and not particularly exciting. The oysters were good but we had to ask for tabasco (surely it's a sort of standard accompaniment?) and the baked goats cheese was lovely. I might return for drinks but probably won't bother with the food. There are definitely better options in granary square.

The new 'IT' place in Kings Cross, a stones throw from work and the buzz of KX...

The positioning of this place is it's real pull, Granary Square was crying out for a pub type place and the sun downers at the front will be amazing! If you can get a spot...!

Drinks are a standard really and food is what you'd imagine (gastro pub with a few specials thrown in) all at the astronomical prices London seems to be embracing...

So if you're looking for atmosphere with a buzz to have a drink in the sun, then I'd recommend it...!
