Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.

The Society Club is a bookshop, but also a place for 'the best of all possible things', according to its owners. As such, it brings together tea, coffee, cocktails and cakes to be enjoyed in interesting company at a long communal table; the Club also sells vintage wares and literature, plus ownmade jams from "Mrs. P". Poetry readings, live music, storytelling and other artistic endeavours also take place at the venue.

The Society Club says
The Society Club is a specialist book shop, cocktail bar, and literary members’ club with a schedule of events and unpredictable happenings. Wall-to-wall with twentieth-century rarities, a drink here will have you sat in one of the country’s finest collections of beautiful books and art.
