My boyfriend and I are both massive foodies and this seemed like a really interesting concept so I decided to take him here for his birthday using the TimeOut offer for the four course tasting menu.  It's a small and intimate place and you sit right up by the kitchen so you can see everything that's going on (well, except if you have a short torso like me in which case your view might not be quite so good!).  The staff are really friendly and the food is served quickly with explanations from the chefs of what each dish is.

The food is, obviously, of a very high standard and I enjoyed every course though only the fish course really blew me away.  The best part is, though, that you get to give your feedback at the end. Once you've finished your meal you're given a feedback card where you can really go to town on what you liked and didn't like and there are examples given of how this feedback has changed the course of the restaurant so far.

I definitely think this place is worth a go but I'm not sure I would go back.  My main feedback was that it did feel like it was over very quickly.  The portions are small so you get through them quickly and the next course is with you within five minutes.  I then didn't really feel like I could hang around once we'd finished so I think if we'd had another five or so minutes between each course it would have felt like less of a rush.

Highly recommend for foodies, especially if you're celebrating a special occasion.
