A Spanish restaurant and cocktail bar in Hammersmith. The food menu here is proudly Spanish, but the drinks range from Iberian-inflected cocktails and mixers to those with an Asian bent. It's all served to a soundtrack of crowd-pleasing tracks and slices of the Spanish sun.

Tapas plays a prominent part on the food menu, with dishes such as Andalucian spicy lamb, chicken with red harissa, grilled Iberico pork and pato - a dish of sliced duck breast with pisto and wholegrain mustard. Iberico meat platters are also available, alongside salads, sides and five desserts - including churros.

Venue name: Toro Gordo
Address: 121 King Street
W6 9JD
Opening hours: Lunch served Mon-Sun noon-3.15pm; dinner served 4.30pm-11.45pm.

The service here was awful! I'm not exaggerating when I say that from the time we walked in to the time we walked out, not one server came to ask how we were doing or even to take our order. Every time we wanted something - from ordering wine, food, water, the bill - we had to call someone over to us - Every. Time. I really fancied dessert, but no one came with a dessert menu or to offer a coffee/tea after dinner. It was astounding! Food was as good as the service. I'd never go back here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

From a spaniard... the food in this restaurant really makes you feel at home. I have been there three times already and the consistency on every dish is remarkable. Top top!

Don't leave without trying the octopus and the scallops... Absolutely amazing.

Brand new restaurant that has opened its doors in Hammersmith.

Went there during my lunch break with a colleague and enjoyed a really great affordable meal (also enjoyed the 40% Opening-days-discount on our meal making it even more affordable!)

Out of all the tapas we tried, I would strongly recommend anyone to try the goat cheese and the duck. 2 tapas that will make you want to go hug the chefs!

Wishing them all the Best!
