You rarely expect something not-touristic in Leicester Sq.
This shop is an emporium of beautifully tinned teas and brewing accessories. The
selection is overwhelming and the blends smell wonderful, but they are not
cheap – at least £25 for 100g. They also have the whole menu in the café upstairs
with intriguing dishes all prepared with tea. We only tried their tea ice-cream and they
were all amazing! The differences in the four flavours were subtle, but they all had
their own character. The place is a pleasure to explore, but don’t try to take
pictures (not even of the huge boring beige tins) the staff is not happy about
it and will tell you off.
