This colourful, canteen-like spot in Islington offers more than just your classic ramen. The menu is filled with global mash-ups such as British Bulldog Ramen (available at weekends) with roast beef slices and Yorkshire puds, or Yankee Doodle Ramen Noodles topped with US-style pulled chicken, crisp bacon and sweetcorn; the meat in this was a little dry. A simpler dish of pan-fried gyoza dumplings was also disappointing, with dry-ish wrappers and an overly dense pork mince filling. Service was friendly, if a little absent-minded at times.
