This Brixton venue bills itself as 'London's first 100% vegan restaurant, bar and late night vegan speakeasy'. It's such a niche concept it may well be London's 'only' 100% vegan restaurant, bar and late night vegan speakeasy. Still, it does mean you could stay from noon till night, should the mood take you.
There should be plenty to eat. The food menu includes Vietnamese raw salads, polenta vegetable stacks, seitan wings, a soup of the day and a grilled 'cheese' toastie with peppers, homemade mayonnaise and fries. The FGV burger, made with two meat-free patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions and a sesame bun, is an homage to the Fat Gay Vegan - a London-based food blogger.
