The original VQ - there's another just off Tottenham Court Road, plus more in the offing - this Fulham Road venue brings 24-hour dining to Chelsea. It's been going for nearly 20 years, with its success not just down to all those people popping in after other local spots have kicked out.

Breakfasts and brunches do brisk business, with eggs benedict, full Englishes and omelettes alongside free tea and coffee refills. Throughout the day - and night - visitors can expect burgers, pasta dishes, superfood salads, dogs and steak frites.

Drinks - ranging from classic and house cocktails to draught beers and wines from a varied list - are available until late.

For the simple fact this place is open 24/7 a massive thumbs up to VQ. The portion sizes are incredible but please note I did opt for the bigger breakfast ! One thing to mention, be prepared to queue if you are going to head down at night, once you're in you'll remember why you waited so long !

Vingt Quatre provides a handy snack/refuel stop for clubbers (next door to 80’s club Maggies) and those coming out of the late movies from the nearby Cineworld. It’s a 24 hour restaurant and last night was the first time I saw their new menu. I was sorry to see the removal of kedgeree but all in all the menu was an improvement as was the pricing. I just ordered a simple hotdog which I totally enjoyed. It didn’t taste plastic and the onions were fried. Smoothies were lovely, maybe a bit sweet. And the brownie dessert was polished off rather quickly. VQ also offers more substantial meals. I recommend it – it’s a smart stop before you head off home or before you start clubbing.

I order from here quite a bit- mainly for those hungover mornings when only a sausage sandwich will do, though there are lots of other options too.

Went here around Midnight with friends, to get a bite to eat. Really busy and buzzing inside so we were happy with that. During the time we were there, it just got busier and busier so there was a lively atmosphere. All of us ordered Chilli Cheese dogs which comes with fries; yummy but all the rolls were slightly burnt! They do let you swap the regulars to sweet potato fries for only 50p though.

Milkshake was delicious, I had a blend of Nutella and Banana for no extra cost. The food was decent, but the service whilst not intentionally bad, was lacking due to the lack of (no pun) staff. They were all pretty busy so things like getting the menu etc took too long. One thing I will mention is, their apple crumble was gross! Unless you want loads of tart apple compote covered with muesli as a dessert don't order it!

Another thing was they charge you £2.50pp entry fee after 12am...which they don't tell you when you walk in and was a complete (nasty) surprise!

Overall okay, I would go again but not in a hurry! I can think plenty of other good diners out there!
