I love a good Chinese restaurant and Wan Chai Corner is yet another feather in Chinatown's hat. While we missed the 5pm deadline for dim sum, the main dishes of succulent fish, Mongolian lamb and Szechuan chicken has got us planning our next visit already. If you want proudly authentic Chinese cuisine, this is a place for you.

Super dim sum at a really great price. Unlimited tea served without prompting, tasty noodle dishes and the meat eaters amongst us declared their plates were great too. Our salty squid was nothing special but everything else was really tasty. I do think the star of their show is the dim sum with a huge selection and less than £3 for most sets of three.  I hope in time they'll add a few more vegetarian options to the menu, but as a pescatarian, I will definitely be back.

Love Dim Sum? You need Wan Chai Corner in your life.

Found, as the name suggests, on the corner of Gerrard's Street and Gerrad's Place, is this three storey Chinese Restaurant. You'll know it's a goodie amid all the other food outlets as there's always a queue of locals waiting to come inside for dumplings, buns and steamed goodness.

It might not be grand and the service may not be overly attentive, but it's fast, delicious and inexpensive. You'll definitely be back.
