A Japanese restaurant in East Finchley serving a range of sushi, maki, sashimi and nigiri alongside noodle dishes, Japanese curries and skewers cooked on the robata grill. It's a popular local haunt.
Much of that popularity seems to come from the variety offered on the menu. Dishes range from small plates of edamame, traditional Japanese pickles and miso soup to soba noodles, soft shell crab karaage, chicken katsu and yakitori chicken grilled over charcoal on that robata.
Keep an eye out for platters, donburi and bento boxes, too. There's a good selection of sake, as well as plum wine, beers from Asahi and a couple of house wines. A take away option is available for those looking to tuck in at home.
