A lovely little community café in Limehouse, an area not really known for cool brunch places otherwise, which will leave you with a smile on your face! The brunch menu covers all the classics: full English, avocado toast, granola, toasties etc. all under £10 (I paid £13 for an avo toast with 2 poached eggs, a granola and a cappuccino) and is made with local ingredients. The yurt is a such a funny setting and has a really relaxing atmosphere to it (+ the music is great).

Found outside Limehouse station, the Yurt Cafe brings some magic to the otherwise grey area. With fairy lights, freshly baked bread and the friendliest staff, the Yurt Cafe is wonderful. Always a pleasure to walk through too!

There is something special about it... Feel like at home there. Cosy space and friendly staff. Love you all! :)

Yurt has been an amazing addition to the neighbourhood. I loved sitting outside here in the summer and look forward to nestling here by the log fire in the winter. A unique, quirky venue with a community feel.

I make sure I visit every weekend. The food is beyond amazing likewise the friendly staff and the atmosphere. The yurt cafe is my happy place

Lovely & relaxing Atmosphere & friendly staff, free Wifi, Value for Money, great sandwiches & cakes, innovative place with a great offer of different activities, nice outdoor area

I just moved to London and feel so welcomed, largely down to the staff and people at the Yurt Café. The sense of community there is amazing, especially with the activities that they host.

Unique and uplifting space in Limehouse. Delicious coffee and cakes. Very atmospheric, particularly in the evenings! I love the wood burning stove.

A true oasis in this quite busy part of London. There is something very calming about sitting inside a yurt and the outside seating area is beautiful and cozy. I struggled to choose between the Yurt and Cinnamon Cafe, another excellent, homely cafe in the area, but the lovely outdoor area and spaciousness of the Yurt is why it gets my vote. The staff are super friendly too.

The Yurt Cafe is a complete hidden gem. A lovely place to work or meet with friends. It has a very calming atmosphere and is cosy with it's little wood-burning stove. Great food, excellent coffee. Everybody I have taken to the Yurt Cafe has commented on what a surprising but wonderful discovery is. My friend described it as "magical" which I think is pretty apt. One of my favourite spaces in London.

Tucked behind Limehouse Station and is a wonderful place to go and it has really added value to the area. Always has a lovely selection of brunch options and delicious cakes. Nice to go in the summer as they have a great outdoor area but equally as nice in the winter as it has a wood burner fire which makes it nice and cozy.

The Yurt has become home to our Thursday 'Yurt Babies' mums club! It's super baby friendly with lovely changing facilities and high chairs. A perfect meeting place for coffee and cake! I really like the chocolate muffins. I often pop down at the weekend with my family for brunch and it is always delicious. The Yurt is licenced too and serves a selection of wine, beer as well as G+T! But my favourite drink is the locally produced Square Root ginger beer. I can't recommend this place more highly! They offer loads of interesting activities and events throughout the week; there's something for everyone - oh, and did I mention there's a cosy log fire to keep away the Autumn chill? What more could you ask for?! Enjoy! And thank you Yurt Team! You rock! X

Among so many options, this stands out as an imaginative, fun and welcoming venue that you feel has genuinely local roots. More like this, please!

A really friendly space just beside Limehouse Station on the DLR- sitting under the canvas roof you feel transported to a much more remote part of the world while you sip a range of lovely teas, coffees and much more.

This is a great place for a bite to eat - it's quirky, homely and offers great food - an unexpected oasis.

Love this unusual venue for a chilled coffee, and also supporting the local community

Great neighbourhood initiative, friendly, diversified events, all you can ask for really.

Uses locally sourced produce and even grow there own vegetables. The staff are paid a living wage and profits are used to support community projects. You can even have an alcoholic beverage if you so wish.

Great venue for meeting up with friends and family....imaginative community events on site

In a peaceful friendly setting within the precinct of the Royal Foundation of St. Katherine Hotel in an area of Limehouse where there are few places to drink a good cup of coffee and eat wholesome snacks or lunch.
We did not have time to check out the handicraft yurt.

The RFSK is an oasis in the middle of the east end of London! Peaceful serene and utterly beautiful!

Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, yummy food... and a genuinely caring community feel.

A great little venue with a real community feel to it. Their brunch menu is a delight, as is the unique concept of having a yurt in the middle of London! It's my local, so I'm lucky I can pop in there frequently. The staff are incredibly friendly, always greeting me warmly, and their coffee is lush too!

Friendly, in an oasis created for all the right reasons, food good, prices fair, coffee excellent, free wifi and mediation or reflection area - really lovely and the literature /reading nights are wonderful and theres good wine too and toasted to die for! BIG love xxx

Amazing coffees, great food, attentive service and a truly unique location.... just try it!

An amazing space, that feels a world away from London. Great coffee, great food and a festival vibe. Different to any other coffee establishment!

Genuine reach out to the community, amazing Yurt tents, delicious inventive food, art spaces, community hub - just a great place to be around

Wonderful atmosphere created in this welcoming space in which to drink great coffee, eat good food, think deeply or meet friends. Part of an exciting regeneration site right next door to the Limehouse DLR.

Absolutely love this place! Very unique and beautiful. Coffee is great and the staff is excellent.

Great location and atmosphere, good staff. Food needs some improvements
