Before you ask, it's pronounced 'zub-er-dust' and translates from Urdu as 'awesome'. The folk behind this intriguing company aim to bridge the gap between fast food and healthy living. Zabardast offers Indian wraps and salads, as well as refreshing mango lassis, Belvoir fruit juices, Fentimans soft drinks and more. The idea is that you pick your bread (tortilla, paratha, flatbread) or salad and then a choice of one to three fillings, which include bombay aloo, haloumi, kofta lamb and chicken hari boti.
Zabardast also have restaurants in Croydon, Clerkenwell and Canary Wharf.
