Time Out says

This beautiful Bloomsbury salon has all the trappings of a super sleek salon – think monochrome fittings, exposed pipes and industrial-style lighting – but none of the snooty staff, thank goodness. With a ton of awards under its immaculately groomed belt and a heavy portfolio full of editorial and catwalk work, the hairstylists in Sam Burnett’s salon could be very stuck-up, but it’s all friendly smiles in Hare & Bone.

My stylist listened patiently as I twittered away about how I was paranoid about newly sprouting grey hairs yet also panicked by the idea of dying my hair. After spending a good while going through a very chunky book of colours, we eventually settled on a glossing treatment that was as close to my natural colour as possible. The finished result was a halo of anime style shine.

You really have to be able to trust your hairstylist – they do wield chemicals and scissors after all – and the stylists here will put you at ease allowing you to completely relax safe in the knowledge that your hair is going to look considerably better as you leave than when you wandered in.

For those on a tight schedule, a bonus is the newly launched Blow Dry Breakfast Club – drop in for a speedy but sleek wash and dry between 8am and 10am (£25 for 30 mins, £35 for £45 mins; Tues-Fri).

Prices start from £48 for a women’s cut and blow dry, or £40 for men.
