Over the last couple of months, we've curated a cracking (if we do say so ourselves) line-up of events, workshops, performances and classes at Samsung KX: the brand’s shiny new hub of creativity at Coal Drops Yard. The space is packed with mind-expanding technology; but it’s also a place where you can unwind, learn new things and get fit while having fun. To get you into the vibe, we’ve put together a list of upcoming health and fitness events.

You can book tickets to each of them below, or click here for the full list of events.

When is it? Monday November 11 and Wednesday November 27, 1pm

Gloves on! It’s time to test your fitness at this intensive exercise class that mixes boxing techniques with live music. As you punch the pads, there’ll be fun light effects and a live DJ will be spinning drum ’n’ bass, hip hop and grime tunes – and you’ll stay pumped for combination work and then cool off with some conditioning. Led by the boxing bosses at New Motion Fitness, the friendly class is suitable for every experience level (including, ahem, none).

House of Voga

When is it? Friday November 15 and Monday November 25, 1pm

Ever wondered what it would be like to combine yoga with some of Madonna’s signature moves? Us neither, but then we heard about House of Voga and were sold. It’s run by Juliet Murrell, who has been practising yoga for more than 15 years, training first in India and then back here in London. The vogue thing isn’t a gimmick, though. Her expert classes use the gestures to help deepen yoga poses and explore the effect of body language, building strength and alignment. It’s open to all ages, all skill levels and all fitness levels. All you need is a capacity for fun. There’s a lot of it.

Seen on Screen

When is it? Monday November 18, 1pm

We could all use a little extra sass in our lives – and there’s no better place to unleash your inner diva than at a Seen on Screen dance class. The teachers break down routines from music videos by the likes of Queen Bey, Britney and Little Mix so you’ll be strutting and shaking it like the best of ‘em. It’s all about empowerment here, and classes are tailored to absolute beginners.

Sleep and Touch Wellness Talks with Nordic Cuddle and Pop & Rest

When is it? Wednesday November 20, 1pm

The most stressful time of the year is almost here, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Samsung KX is hosting back-to-back talks on sleep and touch, which will help get your wellbeing back on track in time for 2020. Join Nordic Cuddle’s cuddle therapist (yep, it’s a thing) Rebekka Mikkola and discover how the act of touching is essential for our mental health and physical wellbeing. And before you start hugging everyone in sight, explore the importance of sleep and why having naps could be the answer with Pop & Rest co-founder Yoann Demont. We don’t need telling twice.

Sound Journey and Meditation with The Refinery

What is it? Tuesday November 26, 8am

No doubt by now you’ve heard about gong baths – but just because people are talking about them right now, that doesn’t mean they’re a new fad. Sound healing is an ancient form of meditation developed in parts of Asia, which uses varying frequencies and vibration to resonate with different parts of the body. In this class from Refinery, you’ll be taken on a relaxing journey by your instructor, who will use Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, rain sticks and a variety of drums. You’ll practically float to work afterwards.

Silent Disco with The Producers UK

When is it? Friday November 29, 7pm

The silent disco phenomenon has stuck around – and it’s music to our ears. At this party, you’ll get a set of wireless headphones, which can be tuned into one of three different channels. Each one will be controlled by a DJ playing pop, rock or party favourites – so you can listen to your favourite tunes while your friends listen to theirs. And here’s some advice: keep your eyes peeled for the coloured lights (red, green and blue) on the headphones because if you see them all switch to the same one, chances are you’re missing an absolute banger.
