Anthem

Simon Spiteri, Liberty's former head of menswear, has brought some of the department store's quaint, creaky aesthetic to the East End with Anthem, his new indie clothing store with business partner Jeremy Baron. Natural wood, chipped brick walls and odd ephemera abound, but the moneyed shoppers will be drawn in by Spiteri and Baron's clever edit of brands, including Comme des Garcons Homme Plus, Rag & Bone, wonderfully obscure Japanese labels like Vias Blomme and Nanok from Norway.
