Becca
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.
With its rich brown colour scheme and seductive lighting, Becca has a luxurious, decadent feel. Australian founder Rebecca Morrice Williams, a former make-up artist, launched the brand when she couldn’t find the perfect foundation, and is still very ‘hands-on’ in her approach; a key aspect of Becca is its inclusive approach – it caters for all skin colours and complexions. The focus is on achieving a radiant complexion, with a three-step system that begins with primer – a key product here, available in Hydrating or Mattifying versions – and a tinted base of Luminous Skin Colour or Shimmering Skin Perfecter. We’re big fans of the Beach Tint ‘crème stain’ for cheeks and lips, which imparts a dewy, natural-looking glow, as well as the mineral powder foundation. The final step is a dusting of very fine finishing powder. The smudge-proof, waterproof Ultimate Mascara can be removed just with warm water. Make-up artists are on hand to give you a revamp (from £45) or lesson (£90; £45 redeemable against products), and there’s a bridal service.
