Time Out says

This Dalston salon was a trailblazer of the dip-dye trend, as seen on the famous barnets of Lady Gaga and Alexa Chung. Founded by colourist-of-the-moment Alex Brownsell, and her agent and friend Sam Teasdale, Bleach has a client list that reads more like a who's who of London party people, including Pixie Geldof, Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal, and happily co-habits its Dalston space with Wah Nails – so you can get art on your finger tips as well as your hair. While colouring here is truly expert, don't bother popping in for a set of honey highlights – Bleach specialises in the dramatic: two-tone hair will set you back £80, a full head of highlights £120. While Brownsell, and the Dalston salon, are usually rammed with back-to-back industry appointments, there's a concession in Topshop Oxford Circus.

Been coming to Bleach for close to 3 years now and its honestly the only place in London I trust to highlight my hair. Tash is an actual GENIUS when it comes to colour and I've never been made to feel so welcome by every single person that works there. Keep up the great work guys!

I live locally, called for an appointment and was greeted by a very unperson-able young male receptionist, who kept putting me on hold whilst asking the stylist questions, I was then asked to give a £30 deposit, I was simply out at the time without my card then more holding continued whilst he went back to the stylist, I unfortunately gave up at that point. Disappointed as I like to try and support my local business, however they did not seem very keen on mine.
