Time Out says

Not to be confused with east London's Broadway Market, this one has been firmly rooted in Tooting since 1936. There are more than 100 stalls touting food, drink, fresh produce, fashion, technology, homeware and more. You can also get your bike fixed at Pedal Back Cafe, have something altered or tailored at Sew Much More or get your nails done at Nail Art.

When did this happen and how did I not know about it earlier?! If you haven't been to the Tooting Broadway Markets, you are totally missing out. A younger, more humble cousin of the Brixton Market, Tooting Broadway market has a great selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. Plus, given it's still relatively unknown, you can always find a cosy spot to enjoy a beverage and a bite.

We love Broadway market versatille offering, you must check the new addition : Rind (cheese bar) ... An amazing cheeses selection and also offer hot dishes such : mac & cheese, raclette, toasty and more... Check it out !!!

Love Tooting Broadway Market, almost as much as I love Tooting Market. The real showcase for me is Pilango (@pilangocider). They're a craft cider outfit which add hops to some of their ciders as well as having a "Liberated" cider which is made from donated London apples. It's a great brand and worth a visit!

I'm a long time Tooting resident and self confessed cheerleader. The way this market is developing is so brilliant. The food places that are opening up are all pretty excellent and authentic. Owned by 'normal' people making a living rather than chains. My faves at the moment are Hi Ki, Ulam and Bordelaise but that is only because I haven't yet tried everywhere.

Changing all the time - some really good places to hang out and try, although doesn't have the seating hub of its neighbour Tooting Market and is much more of a traditional market with tack, tailors & a pet shop - Pedal-back cafe is good for a shopping break.

I really rate the Tapas Rooms which has wine tastings on Wednesdays & money-off on Tuesdays (#TightTuesday) plus great food. Bordaliase steaks next door is also very good, also the Craft Beer place and there was that lost evening in the Hill Station! There's new bars and restaurants opening all the time (I passed 2 today) so well worth a visit

This market is a perfect storm of everything great about London. Stunning food & drink outlets, jostling for space amongst an eclectic mix of nail bars, pet shops, tailors and produce. Tooting is on the rise and this market is growing day by day with new and exciting openings. Come for food, drinks, and to get your bike mended. So brilliant.
