Located in Lewisham College car park, this friendly market makes a great place to pick up some quality groceries. The focus is on locally-sourced seasonal food, whether that’s a joint for your Sunday lunch, your basic supply of fresh fruit and veg, or cakes, artisan breads, cheese and charcuterie for a special occasion. Highlights include organic meats from Jacob’s Ladder, free-range poultry from Fosse Meadow, organic veg from Wild Country Organics and excellent Spanish cheeses and chorizo from Flavours of Spain.

If you’re after a quick bite, then there’s also a regular gang of star-studded street food vendors such as Mike & Ollie with Lebanese-style flatbread wraps, Fleischmob serving Austrian schnitzel, plus juicy beef patties in glazed buns from Mother Flipper.

I ventured out here just yesterday for many reasons! 1) I wanted to try the much talked about halloumi fries and 2) I wanted them bad!

The market itself has a fee goodies to offer... From fresh organic fruit/veg to wines and cakes and even street food! I was in heaven! I splashed out and purchased cakes, cookies, fresh oysters (which I struggled to shuck but eventually succeeded) and yes I finally tried those halloumi fries! They were yummy but after 4 I couldn't hack anymore deep fried cheese! Overall a great location for food and fresh products! Oh and the cupcakes are to die for

Great selection of fresh food and cooked foods. A little delight hidden away in SE4!

Amazing selection of everything you need and all regionally or locally sourced and produced. Seasonal produce and all at great prices. The community friendly 'village' vibe is the cherry on the top! If I wasn't living in Brockley already, this would make me move.
