Time Out says

Offering an eclectic jumble of street food, clothing, gifts and more, Camden Lock Market is a characterful shopping experience. The market may have started its life selling solely arts and crafts, but under a new initiative Camden Lock has been hosting an array of events, from festivals to night markets and pop up stores. Highlights of the new calendar include a Deli market and pop up yoga on Wednesdays, Out the Box street food every Thursday night and regular live comedy, ensuring that there’s sure to be something different going on each time you visit.

Camden market still going strong, plenty of vintage clothing places, excellent for denim, leather and fur.

Literally haven't been to the market in years, felt very nostalgic of my youth buying doc martins and posters.

Quite inspiring nothing much has changed and good to see the teenagers all having their poignant youth Camden experiences. What they do now have however is a rather fancy Kerb street food market as well as a permanent cheese bar! Happy Days, so much Camden Love.

One of the best markets in London.

If you have your friends visiting London, you can never go wrong taking them to the Camden Lock. You will find everything you really need to be happy be it tasty street food, drinks, jewellery, records, crafts or antiques. Its open every day and one of the several market in Camden. I will never get bored of this place as its somehow different every time I come. Perfect place to buy original souvenirs or presents. Highly recommended!

This market is amazing, you can try every kind of food and they are all amazing! My favourite ones are pancakes and pizza. I love the area, there are also some very good pubs where they put nice music. The Camden Lock Market is always very busy and it is difficult to find a place where to sit, I usually have to stand next to the canal. When it rains it can become even more upsetting because the stands are very close to each other and the place is quite small. But in general I love going there, it is the perfect place if you want to relax yourself, doing some shopping or enjoying your free time.

used to live in Camden so this got to be one of those places I took for granted as I saw it every day.

Having gone back a couple of times recently I've had the pleasure of experiencing it through fresh eyes. Yes it's one hec of a tourist trap but still has the endless cool stalls filled with handmade oddities and sprawling hanger like workshops where you can pick up any type of furniture you care to describe. The food stalls are plentiful and cheap for London, especially at the end of the day when they need to get rid of what they have left.

It's still a wee bit druggie I'm afraid with pretty obvious paraphernalia for sale unless you're a complete innocent, so be prepared for awkward questions if you take wee ones.

Stacks of places to eat and drink, perfect for summer evenings and a happy, chilled vibe complete this colourful picture.

In my opinion Camden sums up London - it's mix of people, its vibrancy and all the different things to see and do.

The food market is scrummy!!! I tried some Peruvian food in the past which was delicious. You will find every type of cuisine here and go away with a satisfied tummy. The market stalls are great if you want to escape the chain shops of along the high street. I always find beautiful and unusual jewellery here and it's nice that you can often find the artists making the pieces there and then. It's also a great place to people watch :)

One of those places that you need to see at least once in your life; it's a combination of food and market stalls that is just full of colour and playful character.
