Crafted: Makers of The Exceptional

Get a unique look into the hidden world of some of Britain's finest crafts-makers at this illuminating exhibition by Walpole at Somerset House. Recreating the workshops of a select group of modern artisans, the retrospective explores the intricate steps involved in the craft making process, starting from raw materials through to finished products. A series of live workshops and meet-and-greet sessions will take place throughout, including a stunning demonstration from luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin's master crafter's. Watch in awe as Master Watchmaker Selynn Blanchett hand-assembles a luxury timepiece and sit stunned as talented enamel painter Anita Porchet recreates a full scale painting in miniature to fit inside them.
