Gary de Sparham concentrates on mid 20th-century design in this hip white space in south-west London. Almost everything is Italian and, in the main, by well-known designers such as Ico Parisi, Gio Ponti, Adnet, Fortana Arte and Fornasetti. Special pieces have been spotted here in the past, such as a 1969 Maurice Calka fibreglass ‘Boomerang’ desk, one of only 35 (£34,000), and a 1940s Osvaldo Borsani commode in black lacquer and sycamore (£5,200). But there are also more affordable items available, such as a chic 1940s black lacquered armchair (£1,450). De Parma also has a small selection of artworks and photography for sale. Branch also at 247 Fulham Road, SW3 6HY (7352 2414).
