GANESHA at Gabriel's Wharf is is the most fantastic gem of a shop as it sells beautiful gifts from around the world with a conscience as the goods are properly fairly traded. You give one gift to your friend and at the same time you know that the maker gets a proper payment for their product. They even used to sell soap made in Aleppo, Syria before that production was no longer possible due to the civil war. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Clare J

Amongst many lovely shops and businesses Southbank Printmakers is a great gallery exhibiting the work of 40 printmakers where shoppers can browse endlessly 7 days a week.

It is a unique open air place with :- artists galleries, studios, workshops and cafes, on one of the nicest walks along the southern edge of the Thames.
visit South Bank Printmakers Gallery, a co-op of 40 of the best original printmakers, chat to them about their work, it is so diverse and interesting, maybe you will become one!

Great independent shops, good eating places, a delightful little haven on the busy Southbank. We must not lose it.

Lovely handmade things made by Designer/Makers, very different and unusual gifts - a hidden shopping area not many Londoners know about.
