Customers queue patiently at this beloved Hampstead Heath deli to get their hands on Giacobazzi’s selection of own-made dishes. Products, from all over Italy, have helpful labels to explain the difference between, say, the various types of pecorino, or Sicilian and Puglian quince pastes. The selections of cheese and especially meat are ample and outstanding, and can be put together as the basis for bespoke party platters to take away (minimum three days' notice). Filled pastas are made on site, as are truffle butter and desserts. Giacobazzi’s can deliver everything you’ll need for your meal, from the breadsticks and olives to the seasonal cakes, but for those who can’t be bothered to put it together themselves, Giacobazzi’s has a restaurant over the road.
