This carboot is an absolute disgrace DO NOT SELL HERE IF YOU ARE A NEW SELLER TO THIS PLACE. The guy that runs it is an absolutely foul man. They opened an hour late, not letting us in until 11 o clock to set up - which means we missed on time to sell even though it still ended at the same time.

On the phone he told us 11 quid for a table and a rail (8 quid for veterans but fair enough). When he came to collect the money he decided it was 16 and wasn't hearing any of my reasonable argument. The person next to us that had two tables and three rails handed over 8 quid quietly under the table.

DO NOT SELL HERE. If i could give it zero stars I would.

This bootfair is absolutely disgraceful no communication by the man who collects the money for the stand. NOBODY TELLS YOU TGE RULES AND IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY DONT FOLLOW THEM THEY CHARGE YOU!!!! We have done this bootfair twice and now this will be the last time we set foot in here. Customers are lovely it's just a shame staff let them down. We had all bootsale things to sell with a few of my old shows I had never worn we wasn't told if you sell new things then they charge you a extra £8 for your stand. Instead they just charge you!! Cowboys is how I'd explain these people!!

I find the Market run very professional, the boys that run the Market are very helpful and resourceful, yes at times it is hard to get a space as there are plenty of traders, so it can be competitive. I don't believe any  long term traders are given special treatment. Would recommend anyone looking for a bargain, lots around.,

Very disappointed. There a a number of professional traders that are provided special access in advance. (They are allowed to park over night).

Generally poorly run and massive let down.

Be careful.

After waiting 2 hours in the cold for a pitch we were shoved in a corner away from the mainstream of passing buyers. The people who run this car boot & the sellers are unfriendly towards those who are not regulars. A waste of £11 for the pitch. Sold here a few times but never again

I wandered across this market today while looking around Seven Sisters Road and had a quick look around. It's a rag tag collection of people selling out the back of their vans, and there's a strange selection of things up for sale. Some stalls sell large selections of cosmetics and toiletries, some people sell their 2nd hand clothes (which vary in quality with tatty old shoes), and some people sell literally anything they can get their hands on (I saw old plugs, old VCRs, blenders, glasses, and creepy plastic dolls). Worth noting a fair few of the clothes on sale were £5 or less, including a fair few high street brand coats etc

Worth checking out if you're in the area (and only for the novelty factor), but honestly, not worth the trip if you're thinking of coming specially!

If you are looking to sell don't bother with this market, they tell you to queue from 5am then let about 70 regulars in at 8. Almost everyone queuing was turned away at 9am. Total waste of time, more like an unregulated outdoor market than a car boot

Spent a wet day here today . Despite the weather still did well . Always busy as it is near Holloway Road ( which is a bonus ) . Hadn't been for a while as there was works on the site but this is all done and back to

normal now . Will be back soon .

this is not a bootsale it is a market so the management tell me who are so rude the big fat guy that runs this is a bully  had a go at a 75 year old man i dont know how they get awway with what they do to people after sitting in the line up since 4 am then told they cant go in janet is no help at all manager needs to go on a managers course

Dirty, messy, disorganised & management is awfully rude. This market should be closed down. They don't deserve any stars. Believe the gentleman who said they accept racism, they should be prosecuted. These behaviours should not exit in a multicultural area, we should not tolerate it.

Very bad management.  There is a racist and abusive female stall holder in this market, she is white British and comes by car selling clothes. We have made many complaints against her abusive language and behaviour, the management has not done anything.  This racist woman especially abusive to foreign looking people and thinks everyone is there to steal her crap clothes.  Please boycott her and do not buy anything from her. Her stall is normally in the corner near the seven sisters exit.

I would like to say a big thank you to the security guards at the market and to the 2 market traders who helped my mum when she had a turn whiles walking around the market by resting her in a traders car and for calling an amblance. Mum went off to hospital but is now well and back home. You kindness will stay with her and myself and we would just like to say THANK YOU for your help and support x

Awful place. Terrible management. Had to queue for over 3 hours to be let down. They let walk instead first and regular. Then only room for 30 ish cars. You have to sleep there night before to be in with half chance. Very bad.

My husband just got back from trying to sell on potentially the best possible time - a sunny Saturday. There were very few customers for a start, which was a great surprise as we had been told it was very busy on a Saturday. More to the point my husband was charged £28 to sell! They charge you during the sale and because there were a handful of new items and it was a Saturday we were charged extra!!! At this point unable to turn back or do anything about it, my husband was forced to pay this extortionate fee! I am horrified and disgusted about being robbed of any profits. Counting up the money we have actually made a LOSS on todays sale! My husband was up at 4am this morning to join the 3 hour queue to get home at 4.30pm! 12 and a half hours of wasted time and potential profits. I highly recommend NOT bothering to waste your time and potential profits here and check out Potters Bar instead, although a bit further to travel, you are treated with courtesy and decency and it costs just £10 to sell and you are guaranteed a pitch too!!!

Well what can I can say about this management. DISGUSTED ABOUT THE WAY THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I rang Janet 'she says she is the manager' about 5 times around 6:30 7am and asked her what I have to do to set up a car boot stall her reply was nothing jut que up and ill open the gates... Well at 10am a big fat guy came to us asking us if we have a ticket I told the big guy no one has even come to us to give us a ticket and he started calling me a liar.. He did nothing when I tried telling him that apart from abuse me. I called Janet and told her that she mis informed us and didn't tell us about ticket and she put the phone down on me..!! Terrible customer service..!!! I waited from 6:30am till 10 there and they did this..!! Wouldn't recommend this to anyone

Very bad management, lined up for 3,5 hours (RECEIVED A NUMBER!!!) couldn't get in. Instead of saying sorry the organiser told me to drive off:)) I just can't understand that the management doesn't know how many cars/vans fit in there and why don't they just tell the people not to wait??? Why do they give numbers to cars they won't take in???

Great hidden gem in north London , friendly helpful staff and busy , Iocal to all shops so the customers roll in. Will defo be going back as we had a great day .

Holloway car boot is the best car boot sale i have ever been too, I always take lots of money there i never go home unhappy, they are very accomodating, and friendly its got a real buzz to it.i always I buy lots of things there too!!!!!!!!

Went especially given the great reviews here, but can say quite honestly this was the worst market I have ever had the misfortune of attending. If overpriced tat rescued from the tip is your bag then you'll like it here but for every else, steer well clear.

People on foot are now back in the main area, as the building works are now finished and it si much better. At least at this carboot the customers spend thier money i have never done this one without taking at least £ 50 and usualy more. and it is open all year.

Warning to people on foot (Without car) they used to give you a nice spot on the main playground, but now they shove you down a windy tunnel with not as much passing trade.
