Hop Burns & Black, frankly, is a pretty cool bottle shop. Tucked away in leafy East Dulwich, this modest store stocks over 300 international beers, a handful of hot sauces, ciders, wines, coffee beans and two crates full of well-cared for vintage vinyls. They also provide a service called 'flagon fill', so you can grab an unmarked, stoppered bottle and fill it with one of their four draught beers.

Not just the best shop in Peckham, but probably the best shop in London full stop.

Arguably the best bottle shop in London and certainly one of the best in the UK.

Great variety. New stuff all the time. Events. Good newsletter. Plus owners Jen and Glenn couldnt be more helpful and customer focussed.

Marcus I

A great selection of beer and lovely owners who are passionate bout beer, chilli and records. What a combo.

Gareth H

Fantastic, purveyors of all things beery, waxy and spicy. Great staff always up for a chat and to lend a hand with your selections.

Ellie L

This shop understands the joy of life, and proffers the fundamentals that support it.

Tor E

Best beer bottle shop in London. I usually travel there every sunday, and it takes me about 90 minutes one way, but the trip is always worth it.

Joshua H

I visited HB&B for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I had a fantastic time. It is fairly rare that a trip to a beer shop turns into an entire boozy day out... Brilliant selection of beers, and the staff are knowledgable, helpful and good fun but without being fawning or condescending. Generally this place embodies all of the best things about the growth of the craft beer industry.

Phil M

A truly amazing selection of craft beers and run by a friendly Kiwi couple.

James L

have taken the stuffy old off license to the next level, and done it with a smile. everything about it works

Beer, spicy sauce and vinyl - what's not to love? A really great selection of craft beers, split into sections by London, rest of UK, US and other, as well as some ciders and wine. They also mark out which are vegan-friendly which is amazing. The whole back wall is dedicated to spicy sauce - the only thing that could improve the shop would be a tasting station as it's hard to decide just which one to go for! There's a few seats inside and out so you can enjoy your purchases there. Alternatively, fill a flagon and head home to enjoy in front of Netflix.

Beer selection is great, but HB&B is made by the welcome and advice from Jen and Glenn.

If you haven't yet been in to experience this great little shop and met Glenn & Jen....your missing out people!!!

Alison H

This place is incredible they have one of the best selections of craft beer and hot sauce... they'll also let you sit outside (heaters) and do you a nice sausage roll with your beer.

Oliver D

great staff, great beer and deadly hot sauce with some vinyl thrown in for good measure

Caroline M

An amazing selection of beers, ales and natural wines not to mention the whole wall of chilli sauces. Recently attended a really lovely and insightful wine tasting night here too which really inspired me in finding more out about natural wines. Definitely worth a visit!

Stuart P

Laid back but great knowledge to back up their excellent, varied beer choice. Fancy a great Kiwi beer? They have plenty. Just a gem. Best bottle shop in London.

The best shop, not just in Peckham, or in London, but the whole wide-world. Amazing beers, sauces and vinyl. Relaxed super friendly atmosphere. Food to eat-in too. Great place to while away a few hours tasting cool new brews, listening to an ever eclectic soundtrack.

Richard R

Outstanding selection and friendly folks. Hardly a weekend goes by that I don't stop by for a flagon fill-up and probably something to quench my thirst there and then! The hot sauces are amazing too.

Martin H

Huge choice of craft beers and spicy sauces. The vinyl selection is a bit pointless.

Robert K

Amazing selection to drink in or take away. Friendliest and most knowledgeable folks running it too! A real asset to the area.

Kay

We travel from Hackney to Peckham to refill our HBB growler, stock up on hot sauce and buy disco vinyl. Would be great if they opened up a branch in Hackney though!
