Popped is an exhibition at Imitate Modern, the contemporary art gallery that plays host to big art stars and emerging talent alike. Popped is one of the latter exhibitions, showcasing four new pop culture artists: Monaco-based Lukas Avalon, who takes street art to canvas in tributes to icons like Grace Kelly and Kate Moss; debut artist Day-Z, who depicts life-like subjects (including Rihanna) primarily using just a pencil; self-instructed artist Mason Storm, who will display his creation of Vivienne Westwood; and Amar Stewart, who uses contrasting aerosol and oil panting techniques. Overall, there will be about 20 new pieces of pop art by these hot talents. And since entry is free, there's no reason not to scoot on over.
