Time Out says
Interstate was a central London staple for denim, polos and overcoats long before the likes of Urban Outfitters muscled in on the scene and it’s still as popular as ever. Denim and workwear are the focus, and it’s packed with a decent range of sizes and well-chosen brands. There’s a stack of Tees and polos but its real appeal lies in its selection of jackets and parkas from the likes of Spiewak, Woolrich and Penfield, or as a place to pick up a sturdy pair of jeans from Japan’s Edwin or Sweden’s Nudie. Staff are helpful, if a little hawk-eyed, but overall the place is laid-back and unpretentious compared with some of its Covent Garden competitors.
