With its playboy vampire’s apartment feel (red walls, velvet curtains, skulls in the window), this gothic Piccadilly store is the perfect showcase for Marc Jeffery and Guy West’s rakish shoes. Still made to exacting traditional standards in Northampton – where both designers grew up – each shoe comes with an interesting twist, such as hand-burnished uppers, diamond broguing or a cleft heel, and are much loved by modern-day dandies about town. Classic shoes include the Punched Gibson in polished burgundy (£220) and the Rochester Center Seam Boot in red and black patent (£295). Shoe prices start from £210 to around £240, while boots range from around £220 up to £295.
