One of the UK's oldest department stores, John Lewis first opened its doors on Oxford Street in 1864. It unveiled this Stratford City store in 2011 – its first new outlet in more than 20 years – and celebrated a brand new, imposing glass building loooking out over the Olympic park. The shop features fresh concepts (room 'sets' in the homes department, interactive elements in electronics, pop-up events and in-store art) and a sleek, modern look.
