Deptford is looking pretty plush these days: even its railway arches, which were once air raid shelters – now cute cocktail bar Little Nan’s and pleasantly rustic restaurant Dirty Apron – are the actual bomb (apologies). But while Deptford’s belly is well catered for, its feet have been neglected – something that new girls-only sneaker store Kickslove aims to remedy. This is the fully realised dream of committed sneakerhead Lisa Barlow (who earned her stripes at Size? and Nike). She had a clear aim: to set up a sneaker destination for likeminded girls to nerd out in. Mission accomplished. The space is slick, with a brilliant gilded floor courtesy of Deptford graffiti artist Insa and a dedicated trainer literature corner complete with back copies of Sneaker Freaker. Yet despite being aimed squarely at sneakerheads, it’s a welcoming little spot, even in-store rottweiler Rocky is incredibly friendly, so you won’t feel intimidated even if you’ve only just dipped a toe in the trainer world. With a select yet comprehensive stock and plenty of exclusives coming this year, this is a shop that could run and run.
Founded by Lisa Barlow - Weber, Kickslove offers the female Sneakerhead a premium destination that specialises in exclusive releases, limited edition footwear and unique brand collaborations from adi/Reebok/Converse/Puma/Fila/Saucony/Le Coq Sportif Karhu/Good News and more.
The floor design is a point of interest, designed by 'INSA' world famous grafitti artist , his gold heels pop and draw your attention to the floor, around the store you will find a sneaker library/art to enjoy and read up on the craze that is sneaker culture.

Check out this classy, chic, cool sneaker newly opened store under the Arches of Deptford station, South East London. The interior décor is a modern store with clean lines and has a space-age, warm welcoming feel. New start-up by a bubbly, smart, trendsetter and passionate business owner Lisa Barlow. She's the Sneakerhead doctor because of her prior Nike experience. Stock includes high-end, 21st century, designer label sneakers plus women's fashions and accessories. She is friendly but not pushy, aims to please and you come away hopefully with sneakers you love at a competitive price. Overall one leaves with a wonderful feeling of being well cared for and a great shopping experience. Online is good too but somehow if you are like me, I really like to see, feel, and try all trainers that I like, before I buy rather than wait for a parcel to arrive in the mail, only to have to return it, usually! So I highly recommend a visit to Kickslove for your trainers etc.
Such a wicked shop! So good to finally have somewhere for girls to get exclusive releases on footwear and clothing. Lisa is the ultimate queen of kicks, her knowledge is astounding! Great prices and customer service always, end of season promotions are brilliant too.
Great selection of ace shoes and very good sale options as well, which is a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful too.
Found an awesome pair of sneaks that I just love. So chilled in there and feels like a really cool place to buy them too. Much nicer than going to your standard sports shop.
What a great store. Sneakerhead owner Lisa's products & service is #1. Go visit and find out for yourself
Rarely you come across a store owner who has so much knowledge and so much love for what they do. Worth the visit alone to come and chat to Lisa. Incredible store with so much to offer. My go to place for kicks and clothes.
Having recently moved to SE London Deptford is a real find, understated but exciting with KICKSLOVE, Little Nan's and Mama's Jerk worth the trip. Loved it
