The London flagship of the New York skincare company that started up in 1851 goes from strength to strength, with branches popping up on all the best shopping routes. Using only naturally derived ingredients that are beneficial to the skin and using the minimum amount of preservative, Kiehl’s products are suitable for some of the most sensitive skins. As well as products for face, body and hair, there are ranges for men (from pre-shave to lip care), babies and children, and even sun protection. The lip balms and rich Crème de Corps (from £8.50) are cult products, recently joined by the non-oily, vitamin-enriched facial fuel for tired-looking skin.
